As an efficient administrator and an industrious person with multiple talents Dr. Sam Paul could not confine himself in any position less than being the Director of the institute. Under his leadership the institute was ranked among the top 10 institutes in India. He was honoured with the ‘Young Achievers Award’ in the year 2004. In the year 2006 he was awarded the “PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR”. In the year 2014 he was awarded as the “PHYSIOTHERAPIST OF THE YEAR’ by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists. He has several laurels & awards to his credit. He recently received the “Life time Achievement Award” by the VDGOOD Professional Association – International Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science and Medicine. He has an indefatigable spirit and is a keen lover of music and philosophy, and he always likes to involve himself with students’ academic and cultural activities.
Dr. Sam Paul in the year 1997 established a Rehabilitation Centre at Devanahalli. It so happened that when Dr. Sam started reaching the rural community where he came across many disabled children who were in real need of rehabilitation & were deprived of the service due to their economic status. This motivated him towards social outreach and creating access to people with disabilities, so they can lead a life of dignity and respect. Thus, in the year 1997 he started treating the disabled children in a small hut at Majjige Hosahalli, Devanahalli Taluk. He started reaching the unreached villages with an aim to render his service. The centre started conducting health camps & awareness programs at various villages with an aim to reach the unreached communities.
The impulsive drive in Dr. Sam further motivated him to establish Kings Healthcare in the year 2007, which was the pioneer in online tele-medicine consultations & tele-medicine education. He was also the pioneer in establishing tele physiotherapy for his international clients. In the year 2009, Dr. Sam established Global City International School & was the founder Director of the organization which offered IGCSE & CBSE curriculum. He has been an educational consultant & helped in establishing various educational Institutions across India. He is also a practicing Physiotherapist & has established a chain of clinics.
He has been conducting workshops & seminars across India & different parts of the world. He has been the Keynote speaker in many conferences nationally & internationally and has also been organising multiple Tedx events. His vision is to inculcate Research & Innovation into all educational streams starting from the school education to the post graduation. He has also published several research articles & has been mentoring various research clusters. He is also the Associate Editor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science Physiotherapy Journal, published by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. He is also the Editorial Board member of International Journal of Bio Sciences & Technology(IJBST). He is also the Editor in Chief of International Journal for Physiotherapy Research & Clinical Practices(IJPRCP) Also a reviewer of many journals. At present he is the Director of Krupanidhi Group of Institutions, Bangalore.
He has been responsible for many foreign exchange programs and international university tie-ups. He has successfully implemented credit transfer programs with several Universities in Canada, Australia & USA. He is also responsible for successfully implementing a student exchange program with University of Memphis, USA and several other universities across Indonesia, Malaysia, Africa and China.
He has been traveling across the globe and promoting Indian Education and has helped hundreds of foreign students complete their education in India successfully.
He is of the view that in order to educate the young generation in the present scenario, the education providers (teachers) should also be regularly updated, trained and motivated. Only then there is a possibility to convert the young generation into responsible, confident and self-reliant youth of the country.
He has been keynote speaker in many international conferences and has been promoting Indian education in various countries through talk shows and exhibitions for the last 16 years. He has been part of several international Educational Exhibitions and promoted Indian education. His raise to prominence in such a short span can be attributed to his strong will power, calibre, conviction, dedication and leadership quality.
He works round-the-clock with determination, dedication, discipline and devotion. A strong believer in team work, he ensures the involvement of all team members in the process of decision making. He takes up all assignments with great enthusiasm and shoulders the responsibility for the outcome of all decisions. He loves to work with the young generation so as to help them emerge as confident, responsible and self-reliant citizens of India in future. He has a special fascination to be in touch with honest, patriotic, courageous, hardworking and sincere personalities, making their contribution in the diverse field of Education.
